Record the tools location in the tool offset monitor under the proper tool number and do again this process to set the x and z offset for all tools. Then position the work offset and turn the turret to the particular cutting tool for which you have situated the tool offset. Now set up the spindle and manually run the cutter. Record the tool’s location under the work offset of z axis. Run the part program and observe the machine to ensure the program performs as proposed.
