Advantages of used SCHÜTTE machines

Speed is the key - industrial machinery must be economical and reliable.

Simultaneous instead of sequential

Multi-spindle automatic lathes are the first choice when high quantities, short throughput times and precision are required for the turned parts to be machined. Increasingly complex workpieces, however, require the use of additional machining techniques such as milling or cross-drilling in addition to turning operations.

Multi-spindle automatic lathes are complex machines in which up to eight spindles on a drum each hold workpieces that are machined by different tools. In addition, there are up to three counter spindles for backworking. The work on a workpiece is divided up in this way. This has the advantage that a workpiece is finished much faster than if the individual work steps were performed one after the other, as is the case when drilling a thread, reaming holes or milling surfaces. Consequently, multi-spindle automatic lathes are used wherever high volumes and speed are required. Increasing precision requirements and higher piece numbers ensure that multi-spindle automatic lathes can make up more and more ground and are increasingly establishing themselves in other areas in addition to their traditional field of application in automotive manufacturing.

This is where used SCHÜTTE machines help improve your production. They are very affordable and immediately available.

Fast tool change

But since this also increases the number of tools installed in the machine at the same time, fast tool changes must be ensured. In addition, micro-precise positioning of the tools must be possible so that the desired high machining precision can be guaranteed.

With used SCHÜTTE, your company can respond quickly to changing production requirements at a fraction of the cost of new machines.

Focus on a few products

Cologne is the sole production location for Alfred Schütte machines. In addition to its main product, multi-spindle automatic lathes, Schütte also builds grinding machines.
