Used MICO COLLETTE AO20 E Gear Cutter Sharpener/Grinder

The purpose is the sharpening of the clamping surface of helical cutting wheels and more recently gotten from Rolling peeling tools (named according to the product name as Scudding-, Skiving tool, etc.). The chucking of the tools can be done with bore and shaft with (preferably MT shank).

• Maximum Tool Diameter D=230 mm
• Diameter of grinding Wheel D= 200mm
• Helical angle (right hand or left hand) of the shaper cutters ß=30° (with limited diameter ß=50°)
• Hydraulic control with absolute Pitch

• Coolant System chiller pump + tank
• oil sump
• clamped grinding wheel
• miscellaneous small parts

The Machine was rebuilt and adapted to suite the contrempory  improvement:

1. Machine was completely enclosed and can be better operated with coolant preferably oil.
2. On the machine resin bonded CBN wheels were used.
   
   This makes it possible better only the old coating (TiN, TiAlN, Alcrona etc.) on the rake face and then removing the wear. The machine was originally operated with dressable corundum. The current coatings are quite a hurdle for this corundum.

The machine is in very good condition and can be inspected under power by appointment.
