Description:
For sale is a highly automated and exceptionally complete production line for the assembly, welding, machining, and final inspection of complete wheels.
The line is consistently automated with a large number of Kuka robots (mostly from 2008) and features premium components from manufacturers such as Georg, SMG, Cloos, Danobat, and IEF Werner. From the initial assembly press, through a five-station welding system, to three CNC turning centers, measuring machines, and a shot blasting unit, this line covers the entire manufacturing process.
This facility represents a turnkey solution for the mass production of welded complete wheels, distinguished by its high degree of automation and the integration of state-of-the-art manufacturing and quality assurance technologies.
For sale: Complete wheel welding & machining line with Kuka robots, Georg presses, Cloos welding systems, Danobat CNC centers, and IEF measuring machines.
Highlights of the Line
* Extremely High Automation: Over a dozen Kuka KR150-2 2000 robots handle all parts handling.
* Powerful Welding Section: An automatic system with 5 welding stations, each equipped with a Kuka robot and Cloos (Quinto) GLC603 welding units.
* Precise CNC Machining: Three Danobat TV-650/SL turning centers with Siemens Sinumerik 840D controls.
* Integrated Press Technology: Several hydraulic presses from Georg and SMG (up to 10,000 kN), partially refurbished.
* Complete Quality Assurance: IEF Werner wheel measuring machines and a Konrad Rump double shot blasting machine.
* Modern Upgrades: Includes a very recent valve protection welding cell from 2023.
Process Flow and Main Components
* Assembly & Pressing:
* The line begins with an infeed station and an SMG hydraulic press (1,600 kN), served by a Kuka robot. This press was rebuilt by Georg in 2008.
* A second, more powerful Georg hydraulic press (10,000 kN) joins the components, served by two Kuka robots.
* Automatic Welding:
* The centerpiece is an automatic welding system with 5 identical welding stations.
* Each station includes a Kuka KR150-2 2000 robot, two Cloos (Quinto) GLC603 welding units (YOM 2009), and a fume extraction system. A brushing device is used for deburring.
* CNC Turning:
* Three Danobat TV-650/SL turning centers (YOM 2008) with Siemens Sinumerik 840D Powerline controls and integrated handling systems perform the machining of the wheels.
* Further Pressing and Finishing Steps:
* The wheels undergo further pressing operations on a refurbished Georg PHEH315 press (3,150 kN) and another refurbished SMG HZBU160 press (1,600 kN), which are also robot-fed.
* A Konrad Rump double shot blasting machine (YOM 2009) prepares the surfaces.
* A valve protection welding system (custom build, YOM 2023) completes the process.
* Quality Control and Handling:
* A double and a single IEF Werner wheel measuring machine (YOM 2008/2000) ensure dimensional accuracy.
* Various roller conveyors and lifting units from Blume (YOM 2008) connect the stations
