Fritz Müller was founded in 1863 as Fritz Müller Bau und dekorative Metallbearbeitung in Esslingen, Germany.
Merger of the Fritz Müller Press Company with the machine tool company Weingarten AG to form Müller Weingarten AG. Hydraulic presses are built for the Müller-Weingarten Group at the Esslingen plant. The group was divided into seven divisions: Mechanical Presses, Hydraulic Presses, Die Casting Technology, Solid Forming, Compact Presses, Toolmaking and Service.
Fritz Müller was the only machine and plant manufacturer in the world to unite the three core competences for metal forming, especially in the automotive industry, under one roof.

Advantages buying Used FRITZ MÜLLER machines
Industrial machines need to be economical and reliable.
Retrofit instead of new procurement
The cyclical modernisation of presses can even extend their useful life several times. In general, a retrofit should be considered after 15 to 20 years. This is because the state of the art continues to develop and repeatedly updated safety regulations make such adaptations unavoidable in some cases in order to be able to guarantee safe operation. Provided that the basic substance of the machine allows it and the performance characteristics and the application character do not have to be adapted, modernisation is the significantly more favourable option compared to a new acquisition. Further decision-making criteria for a retrofit are, on the one hand, the short delivery time, a significantly lower consumption of resources and the minimal effort required for integration into the operational infrastructure.
High forming speeds with reduced connected load
Thanks to the adapted dynamic step switching, the Fritz Müller machine offers a very high forming speed with reduced connected load - a particular advantage when incorporating drawing dies especially for mechanical servo presses, as these usually run with high stroke rates and thus very high forming speeds. In order to simulate the behaviour of the drawing stage of a servo press line as accurately as possible, Schuler equipped the press with a 600-tonne eight-point table cushion, which was optimised to meet the increased static and dynamic requirements.
Training time on the production presses significantly reduced
For follow-on operations of die sets and the run-in of step or transfer dies, the press has a 300-ton ram cushion and a mechanical stroke limiter in combination with hydraulic cutting impact damping. Large lateral column passages also allow strip or belt material to be fed to the mould. All this ultimately leads to a significant reduction in the final set-up time on the production presses.
This is where used FRITZ MÜLLER machines help to enhance your production. They are very affordable and immediate available.
With pre-owned FRITZ MÜLLER your business can react fast to changing production requirements at the fraction of the cost of new equipment.
