One-, two-, three- and four-axis horizontal machining centers specifying the SW Series. Several chains allow the simultaneous machining of four, five and five axes of complex metal parts. This ranges from the precise handling of small parts to the automatic reading and unloading of larger items. The dimensions are 800 x 950 x 650 mm.
The 4-axis and 5-axis machining centres are characterised by high-precision manufacturing and are extremely fast. Thus, the flexible and highly productive SW manufacturing system is used for large series. The automotive industry and its suppliers use SW milling machines because of their high flexibility for the special machining of crankshaft aisles in engine blocks as well as for the machining of cylinder heads, connecting rods and housings of differential gears.
