The DAW 20 was the predecessor of  DAW 20 A and was built in 1980. The machine was initially a relay control, from about 1970 was then fitted with the Statamat control. Similar to the other machines of the same series (DAW 40 DAC 63), the machine on both the press and on the closing side of a bubble memory.
